Nothing is more important than the health of our client. Abstinence, sobriety, refraining from acting out in addiction is our primary objective for many of our clients. This is the first step toward balance. For some this may mean reducing their schedule and asking for help to manage workload. Our vices help us cope; they can, and more than likely will, lead to our downfall. Constant communication, accountability, and support from someone who understands may be the most powerful tool to assist you in developing a strategy for long term recovery. Recovery coaching is a way of outlining a process for releasing stress rather than escaping from it.
